Roy Tatum is a Portland based multidisciplinary designer. He’s worked on everything from wearables, to websites and apps, to printed matter and visual identities. He’s worked with and for companies like Apple, Nike, The California Science Center, Wove, Target, and The Rockefeller Foundation. Most recently, he was at Nike Digital, where he worked on a variety of projects across the product portfolio. He spent the bulk of his time at Nike working on a redesign of The Nike App and designing and launching The Nike App at Retail program. Roy started his career at IDEO New York, where he worked on product and service design projects. He graduated from ArtCenter College of Design with a degree in Graphic Design. His senior project, titled Unbound, examined the relationship between communication technologies, writing, and graphic design. It included pieces ranging from books and print media, to designing and programming interactive installations.
